The Veneer Process — Step by Step
Smile Design Consultation
We discuss your smile goals, show you examples of veneer results, and assess whether veneers are the right solution for your specific concerns. Digital imaging may be used to preview potential outcomes.
Tooth Preparation
A very small amount of enamel (typically 0.3–0.7mm) is gently removed from the front surface of each tooth to make room for the veneer. Local anesthesia ensures this is completely comfortable. Impressions are then taken and sent to our dental lab.
Temporary Veneers
While your custom veneers are being fabricated (typically 2 weeks), we place temporary veneers so you can preview your new smile and leave our office looking great.
Bonding Your Permanent Veneers
When your porcelain veneers arrive from the lab, we carefully bond each one to your teeth using a strong dental adhesive. We verify the shade, shape, and fit before permanently cementing them in place.
Final Check & Bite Adjustment
